Meet Our Founder

Dr. Krystal T. Morris, President/CEO

 

A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, now residing in Ennis, Texas, Dr. Krystal T. Morris is the Founder and CEO of Urban Community Coalition and STEAM Kids Education, mission-driven organizations dedicated to empowering youth through education, mentorship, workforce development, and community engagement.

An educator, author, advocate, curriculum developer, and international speaker, Dr. Morris brings over a decade of leadership across nonprofit, educational, and community-based spaces. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management, a Master’s degree in Secondary Education, and an Education Doctorate in Higher Education Organizational Leadership. Her work centers on building sustainable programs, developing transformative curricula, leading youth empowerment initiatives, and bridging education with real-world opportunity.

Dr. Morris is deeply passionate about fostering growth, resilience, identity, and self-discovery in young people—particularly those from underserved communities. Through her leadership, she oversees strategic planning, program design, partnerships, advocacy initiatives, grant-funded projects, and youth development pipelines that prepare students not just to succeed, but to lead.

As an accomplished author, Dr. Morris inspires the next generation through impactful works including Embrace Your Y.E.T., The King Within, and Win or Learn, encouraging young people to embrace their evolving truth, overcome obstacles, and create meaningful change in their communities.

Through STEAM Kids Education, Dr. Morris champions access and innovation in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM)—equipping students with critical thinking skills, creativity, and confidence to thrive in a rapidly evolving global workforce.

Whether in classrooms, community spaces, or on international stages, Dr. Krystal T. Morris leads with purpose, vision, and an unwavering commitment to empowering the next generation.

As a Partner and our Marketing and Communications Manager, Robert plays a key leadership role across both our nonprofit mission and our for-profit business arm. He leads brand strategy, creative direction, and operational logistics; ensuring ideas move smoothly from concept to execution.

Bringing expertise in photography, graphic design, social media, and logistics coordination, Robert bridges creativity with structure. His ability to manage timelines, workflows, and project execution allows our teams to operate efficiently while delivering impactful, visually compelling work.

His approach blends creativity, strategy, and logistics to strengthen our brand presence and deepen meaningful connections with the communities we serve.

As a member of the Marketing and Communications team for the Austin Urban Community Coalition, Danielle helps to lead the efforts in creating impactful marketing materials, managing social media, and driving engagement through innovative strategies. Danielle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a concentration in Broadcast

 

As a member of the Marketing and Communications team for the Austin Urban Community Coalition, Danielle helps to lead the efforts in creating impactful marketing materials, managing social media, and driving engagement through innovative strategies. Danielle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a concentration in Broadcast Media from North Carolina Central University and is currently pursuing her MFA in Filmmaking with a concentration in Screenwriting at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.

In her free time, Danielle enjoys traveling, reading, and indulging in some retail therapy on Amazon.
